Ingredients
- 12 ounces farfalle (bowtie) pasta
- 2 Tablespoons olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 1/2 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1/4 cup butter
- 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 teaspoons dried Italian seasonings
Directions
In a large pot of salted water on high heat, bring water to boil. Add pasta, reduce heat to medium high. Cook pasta until al dente 9-11 minutes. Drain and set aside.
Ina large sauté pan, on medium heat add olive oil and garlic, stirring constantly for one minute until garlic is fragrant. Add chicken stock and red pepper flakes. Increase heat to high and bring to boil. Add broccoli and cover. Reduce heat to medium and cook broccoli until tender, about 2-4 minutes.
Add butter, Parmesan cheese and Italian seasonings. Stir to combine. Add pasta and reheat for 3-5 minutes.
Taste and season with salt and fresh ground pepper.
