As owner, president, and CEO of Titan Farms, Chalmers is involved in every aspect of the farm from the office to the field. He oversees operations from the daily packing of the peaches to laying plastic in the vegetable field. Chalmers earned his Bachelor of Science in agricultural economics from Clemson University and is a currently a member of the South Carolina Agriculture Commission and is president of USA Farmers. He is also treasurer of the South Carolina Peach Council, executive board member of the Palmetto AgriBusiness Council, chairman of the South Carolina Farm Bureau Labor Committee, and past chairman of the American Farm Bureau Labor Committee. Chalmers began his farming career in 1990 in Madison, Florida where he farmed peaches and vegetables, but he moved to Titan Farms shortly after in 1995. Chalmers and his wife Lori Anne have two children, Chalmers IV and Carly Anne.
Lori Anne is the vice-president and administrative manager of Titan Farms. She supervises human resources, the administration of the H2A worker program, and the farm’s marketing team that supports its various entities. She also manages the operation of the Sara’s Roadside Stands. Lori Anne earned her bachelor’s of arts degree in Elementary Education from Clemson University and a master’s degree in Administration and Supervision. She serves as a member of the Old 96 Tourism Commission and is a former member of the Clemson University Foundation Board. Lori Anne has worked with her husband Chalmers in growing and enhancing Titan Farms since 1999.
